Science Tuition Bugis for A/O Levels – AO Studies

Before Mr Joseph’s lessons, I have been getting Bs for chemistry. I disliked chemistry as the concepts were hard to understand. However, after joining his lessons, I found that I could understand the concepts easier. His lessons are fun and engaging! He always makes sure that I fully understand the concepts before moving on to the next chapter. He always gives me extra practice to give me more exposure to different types of questions to help me familiarise myself with them. This definitely helped me in my preparations for o levels as after attending his lessons, I scored a A2 for chemistry.

I joined about a year before O levels began with failing or borderline passing grades. After all Mr Ang’s help, I managed to get B4. He was always kind enough to answer whatever questions I had and was patient enough to go through them until I understood. Classes were always very enjoyable and actually helpful unlike some other places that throw endless practices at students expecting them to get better on their own.

I joined Mr Ang in the 3/4 of Sec 3. Prior to joining I was getting E8 for every exam. He made sure that I understood every chemistry concept required, and even taught us ways to memorise important concepts for our examinations. Every lesson was enjoyable and always filled with laughter. In addition, Mr Ang is very approachable and whenever I face difficulties when revising I could always text Mr Ang to clarify. After 1 year of his guidance, I was able to achieve an A2 in my O levels. I really thank him 😉

Having gone through Joseph chemistry and physics lessons these past two years I have learnt so much from him. Before joining his class my results for chemistry and physics were B4 and C5 respectively but after his lessons I managed to get A2 for both subjects. His lesson materials also are very useful and have helped me look at the topic from a different perspective than what my school is teaching. I definitely would recommend his lessons as they are really an eye opener that would help you broaden your view on the subject.

At the end of Sec 3, I was struggling a lot of Chemistry, barely passing my EOYs. Hence based on the glowing reviews for AOstudies, I took a leap of faith and signed up for Pure Chem lessons. And i never regretted it. Even before formally enrolling for lessons, Mr Joseph kindly arranged an introductory session with my parents and I, explaining his teaching methods and even giving advice for Sec 4. Over the course of 10 months leasing up to Os, I could see my grades and my grasp of the subject improving each exam. From C5 in Common Tests, to B4 in MYE and A2 in Prelims, I ultimately clinched an A2 for O levels. I am grateful to have learnt Chem at AOstudies.

I was initially scoring between F9 and C5 to B4 and couldn’t get my grades high. Mr Joseph taught me the right method to study for chemistry and physics(combined) and encouraged me to put in the effort to work harder. Over time, things got easier, and for my O levels, I got an A1 for combined phys and chem. If your looking for a teacher that is persistent(in the good way) and thinks of the best ways to teach you despite your difficulties in learning, you got Mr Joseph.

Joseph is very dedicated teacher which will go out of him way to help us understand concepts and solve questions. Be it schoolwork or the questions given to us in the materials, Joseph will not hesitate to answer my questions I have and to clarify any of my doubts. Mr Joseph was extremely helpful with his tutoring. The lessons were enjoyable and very concise in teaching exactly what each Chemistry and Physics chapter was about. I began Secondary 3 with borderline passes for both Chemistry and Physics but through Mr Joseph’s guidance, I eventually graduated with A1s for both of the subjects. Last but not least, Mr Joseph also exemplifies his love of work by always being available to answer any doubts and queries even in the middle of the night. Thank you Mr Joseph.

I joined AO studies at middle of Secondary 4 as I was doing very poorly in my Additional Math. I failed almost every common test. It was when I finally joined AO Math where it really helped me to firm up my foundation and tie up any of my loose ends. I was so glad that I joined AO studies.

Before joining AO studies in June, my amaths never got a distinction. However, after joining I learnt alot from from the classes which were very enjoyable. I also got exposed to more difficult questions, allowing me to be able to handle the O level exam questions, and getting a distinction. Without the guidance from my tutor and the classes, I would not have been able to achieve this results I got. Thank you!

This tuition exposes me to many different varieties of questions that are totally of a higher level compared to my school’s prelim paper. The questions require applications skills and different levels of calculations by different methods. This enhances the thinking level of the student by alot and thus helping me achieving a B3 for my Amaths in O lvls from a F9. AO studies has also helped me achieve a A1 for my Emaths from a very low passing mark.

I want to thank AO for helping me improve my Math grades from a F9 to an A2 in both my E and A Math. I did not regret attending this tuition as it was worth it and not to forget the awesome teacher that had given us everything we need. From treating us food to giving us rewards for solving quizzes. I’ve also made many friends from different school as well and I’m glad that AO helped me a lot. 🙂

AO Studies has effectively helped me improve my E-Math grades from a bad fail (Mid-years) to an acceptable pass for my O’levels. My tuition teacher provided me with challenging level-by-level questions that helped me better understand the different concepts of math that I was weak in. Lessons were also fun and usually full of laughter which made tuition less straining 🙂

AO math has given me the opportunity to grasp the skills and concepts that I need for mathematics. Before i join AO Studies,my A math results were horrible as i was unable to catch up with the pace that my school teacher was going.At my sec3 EOY examination, i got a F9 for my A math and was the last in my class.So after i join AO Studies,i started to catch up slowly and eventually i manage to reach the same pace that my school is going.In the end,my results manage to went from F9 to A2.

I was on the verge of giving up on additional mathematics until my friend recommended me to AO Studies in June during my secondary four year. The teachers there started from basic and helped to gradually built up my foundation. Within months, my results went from below F9 to B3 during the O’levels. For that and all the other hard work, I’m extremely grateful to the teachers at AO Studies. Thank you!

AO studies has pushed me and made me realise that I am able to strive well for my maths. From getting a measly C6 for my mid-years for Amath, I was able to accomplish an A2 in my O levels Emath and Amath. I’m more than grateful for the determination the teachers put in to help me improve my mathematics. I joined AO studies after failing my Additional Mathematics prelim exam and improved from a D7 in A.Math to an A1 in my O level examinations. I joined AO Studies middle of the year. At that point of time I was failing Math and hated it. I never looked forward to doing Math. Before i joined AO Studies, I was failing Physics and was usually scoring a C6 for my Amaths. However, after I joined the Physics and Amaths tuition at AO Studies, both my Physics and Amaths were an A2.

After joining AO studies at the start of Secondary 4, my results for both subjects have improved tremendously, all thanks to Mr Joseph. He had been such a friendly and caring teacher, making sure that you understand all your concepts and clearing all your doubts the best that he can give.

I joined AO Studies towards the end of secondary 3. At that time, my phy and chem were barely passing and I was beginning to lose interest in them. However, the lessons were engaging and I was able to better understand the topics. I was shocked that I managed to improve from C6 in sec 3 to A1 for both my Physics and Chem in the 'O's.

I joined AO studies at middle of Secondary 3 after failing my Chemistry with only 25/100 (F9). After joining the Tuition centre for only 2-3 months, i managed to pass my Chemistry paper for the 1st time.

My physics tuition teacher Joseph have really helped me in more ways than one. I loved his class from the moment I started attending it- and I've learnt so much from him too; I have my A1 in O Level Physics to attest to that.

Mr Joseph has taught me chem and physics since sec 3 to sec 4. Through the lessons, he uses really visual, interactive, interesting ways to teach his students that really makes chem and physics interesting. It's no longer something read from a book but made into something with life and something i really enjoy learning.

After joining AO studies, my attitude towards Chemistry gradually changed for the better. My results have improved a lot, from low Cs to mostly high Bs and As.

With the help of Mr Joseph, I was able to cope with the subject and eventually gained interest in Chemistry.

Mr Joseph managed to push my results from a C6 to an A1 in O'Levels and I'm very thankful for all his efforts!

Despite constantly not doing well in school exams for physics, Joseph didnt give up, and gave extra attention to if i needed help in the questions we were doing in class. He was always willing to stay back after class to attend to my questions if i had any.

The tutors there were extremely dedicated and were willing to take the extra mile for their students.
